Pastor Eric and Doreen Kovatch

Pastor Eric and Doreen were one of the six founding couples that began Acts 2 Church in September 2006.  Pastor Eric immediately began leading services and taught confirmation while Doreen led Sunday school and served on the Leadership team.  Both have continued to serve Acts 2 in a variety of capacities and positions since.

In 2015, Pastor Eric was ordained by the church and both of them began serving as Wycliffe Bible Translator missionaries.  They served as the US Mission Directors for Project VIDEO, which established video studios to proclaim the Gospel to minority language groups in Thailand and throughout Southeast Asia.  Between 2015 and 2018, they traveled to Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Nepal working with Project VIDEO while they continued to serve Acts 2 as well. 

In 2019 they returned to outside, secular jobs but they continue to serve Acts 2 and the Lord wherever he places them. 

They have lived in the Waukesha area since the late 1990s where they raised their three daughters, who now live around Wisconsin.
